Total Distance, Wiener Index and Opportunity Index in Wreath Products of Star Graphs
In the last decades much attention has turned towards centrality measures on graphs. The Wiener index and the total distance are key tools to investigate the median vertices, the distance-balanced property and the opportunity index of a graph.

Wiener index of graphs with fixed number of pendant or cut-vertices [PDF]
The Wiener index of a connected graph is defined as the sum of the distances between all unordered pairs of its vertices. We characterize the graphs which extremize the Wiener index among all graphs on n vertices with k pendant vertices.

Hydrogel‐Based Airway‐on‐Tube With Perfusable Endothelial Lumen and Outward Epithelialization
A hydrogel‐based airway‐on‐tube platform featuring a perfusable endothelial lumen and outward epithelialization is presented. The system supports primary human bronchial epithelial and lung microvascular endothelial coculture under air‐liquid interface conditions.

On the product formula and convolution associated with the index Whittaker transform
We deduce a product formula for the Whittaker $W$ function whose kernel does not depend on the second parameter. Making use of this formula, we define the positivity-preserving convolution operator associated with the index Whittaker transform, which is ...

The energetic offset between the donor and the acceptor components in organic photoactive layers is central to the tradeoff between photovoltage and photocurrent losses. This Perspective covers the most important issues surrounding this topic in non‐fullerene acceptor blends, from the difficulty of accurately determining state energies and driving ...

HYPER-WIENER INDEX OF ZIGZAG POLYHEX NANOTUBES [PDF]
Abstract The hyper-Wiener index of a connected graph G is defined as $WW(G)=(1/4)\sum _{(u,v)\in V(G)\times V(G)}\big (d(u,v)+d(u,v)^2\big )$ , where V (G) is the set of all vertices of G and d(u,v) is the distance between the vertices u,v∈V (G).

The center of mass of the ISE and the Wiener index of trees
We derive the distribution of the center of mass $S$ of the integrated superBrownian excursion (ISE) {from} the asymptotic distribution of the Wiener index for simple trees. Equivalently, this is the distribution of the integral of a Brownian snake.
