New Convergence Definitions for Sequences of Sets

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
Several notions of convergence for subsets of metric space appear in the literature. In this paper, we define Wijsman  -convergence and Wijsman  -convergence for sequences of sets and establish some basic theorems.

Wijsman lacunary invariant statistical convergence for triple sequences via Orlicz function [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Classical Analysis, 2020
Summary: In this paper, we generalized the Wijsman lacunary invariant statistical convergence of closed sets in metric space by introducing the Wijsman lacunary invariant statistical \(\tilde{\phi}\) convergence for the sets of triple sequences. We introduce the concepts of Wijsman invariant \(\tilde{\phi} \)-convergence, Wijsman invariant statistical \

I-lacunary statistical convergence of sequences of sets [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
In this paper we study the concepts of Wijsman I-statistical convergence, Wijsman I-lacunary statistical convergence and Wijsman strongly I-lacunary convergence of sequences of sets and investigate the relationship between ...

On Asymptotically Lacunary Statistical Equivalent Set Sequences

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2013
This paper presents three definitions which are natural combination of the definitions of asymptotic equivalence, statistical convergence, lacunary statistical convergence, and Wijsman convergence.

Fell type topologies of quasi-pseudo-metric spaces and the Kuratowski-Painlevé convergence

open access: yesApplied General Topology, 2001
We study the double Fell topology when this hypertopology is constructed over a quasi-pseudo-metric space. In particular, its relationship with the Wijsman hypertopology is studied.

Bombay hypertopologies

open access: yesApplied General Topology, 2003
Recently it was shown that, in a metric space, the upper Wijsman convergence can be topologized with the introduction of a new far-miss topology. The resulting Wijsman topology is a mixture of the ball topology and the proximal ball topology.

ON λ-ASYMPTOTICALLY WIJSMAN GENERALIZED STATISTICAL CONVERGENCE OF SEQUENCES OF SETS [PDF]

open access: yesTatra Mountains Mathematical Publications, 2013
ABSTRACT The concept of Wijsman statistical convergence was defined by [Nuray, F.-Rhoades, B. E.: Statistical convergence of sequences of sets, Fasc. Math. 49 (2012), 1-9]. In this paper we present three definitions which are a natural combination of the definition of asymptotic equivalence, statistical convergence, generalized statistical ...

Convergence of Multiset Sequences

open access: yesJournal of New Theory, 2021
In this paper, we introduce the concept of the multiset sequence and its convergence. A few special examples of multiset sequences, e.g. a prime identifier, are also given.

Asymptotically J_σ-Equivalence of Sequences of Sets

open access: yesSakarya Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü Dergisi, 2019
In thisstudy, we introduce the concepts of Wijsman asymptotically J-invariant equivalence (WLJσ) ,Wijsman asymptotically strongly p-invariant equivalence([WLVσ)]p) and Wijsman asymptotically J*-invariant equivalence(WLJ*σ).

On Strongly I and I-Lacunary convergence of sequences of sets [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
In this paper we study the concepts of Wijsman strongly lacunary convergence, Wijsman strongly I-lacunary convergence, Wijsman strongly I*-lacunary convergence and Wijsman strongly I-lacunary Cauchy sequences of sets and investigate the relationship ...
