Mercury bioaccumulation by wild edible mushrooms
Mercury (Hg) contents was determined in ten species of edible mushrooms in Zrin mountain, Croatia. The analyses of mercury were carried out by AAS mercury analyzer (Atomic Adsorption Spectrophotometer). The greatest mercury mean concentration of 2.28 mg kg-1 was determined in ectomycorrhizal species Boletus edulis.
