Effect of building shape on wind-induced response of tall building
Journal of Wind Engineering and Industrial Aerodynamics, 1988Abstract Wind tunnel model tests were conducted to investigate the effect of building shape on the wind-induced response of a tall building with a rectangular cross-section. It was found that horizontal slots, slotted corners and chamfered corners caused significant reductions in both the along-wind and cross-wind responses.

FULL-SCALE MEASUREMENTS OF WIND-INDUCED RESPONSE OF SYDNEY TOWER
Journal of Wind Engineering and Industrial Aerodynamics, 1983Abstract Results of full-scale measurements of wind-induced response of Sydney Tower taken between December 1980 and August 1982 are presented in this paper. The natural frequencies of vibration were found to be 0.10 Hz and 0.50 Hz for the first mode and second mode respectively.
