When a large amount of wind power is connected to the power grid, certain control methods need to be taken for wind turbines (WTs) so that WTs can respond to system frequency changes and maintain system frequency stability. Based on the frequency control

Wind Farm Control Optimisation Under Load Constraints Via Surrogate Modelling
In the field of wind farm control, wake steering has shown the potential to increase the power output of a wind farm by deflecting wakes away from downstream turbines.

Fault-Tolerant Cooperative Control of Large-Scale Wind Farms and Wind Farm Clusters
Large-scale wind farms and wind farm clusters with many installed wind turbines are increasingly built around the world, and especially in offshore regions. The reliability and availability of these assets are critically important for cost-effective wind

Creep Properties and Deformation Mechanism of Additively Manufactured NiAl‐CrMo Composites
Additively manufactured NiAl‐CrMo composites contain numerous interfaces and cell boundaries that control their creep response. At 700°C under high applied stress, creep is dominated by dislocation‐controlled power‐law mechanisms. At 800°C–900°C and lower stresses, creep is primarily diffusion‐controlled along cell boundaries.

A multivalent DNA nanostructure‐enabled lateral flow assay was developed for rapid, ultrasensitive detection of porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV) nucleocapsid protein. Designer net‐shaped DNA nanostructures (DNA‐Net) presenting PEDV‐specific aptamers achieved ~1000‐fold enhanced binding, enabling detection of viral copies with Ct ≤ 37.42 within 10

Supergen Wind Hub : D3.3 Report on Wind Farm Control Algorithms to Meet Asset Management Requirements [PDF]
In this report, the investigation of the dependence of the loads on individual turbines in an offshore wind farm is reported. Three layouts of the wind farm are considered for a wide range of wind conditions, including wind direction.
