Wind-speed forecasting model based on DBN-Elman combined with improved PSO-HHT

open access: yesGlobal Energy Interconnection, 2023
Random and fluctuating wind speeds make it difficult to stabilize the wind-power output, which complicates the execution of wind-farm control systems and increases the response frequency.

Wind Speed Prediction Based on Wavelet Decomposition and the Fractal-Based LSTM Method

open access: yesFractal and Fractional
Accurate wind speed prediction is essential for wind power generation and wind-resistant structural design. In this research, a short-term wind speed prediction model that combines the wavelet decomposition (WD) method and a fractal-based long short-term

Wind Speed Prediction Model Based on Improved VMD and Sudden Change of Wind Speed

open access: yesSustainability, 2022
An accurate wind speed prediction system is of great importance prerequisite for realizing wind power grid integration and ensuring the safety of the power system. Quantifying wind speed fluctuations can better provide valuable information for power dispatching. Therefore, this paper proposes a deterministic wind speed prediction system and an interval

Measurable Residual Disease Monitoring During Treatment for Pediatric Acute Myeloid Leukemia in First Relapse

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Survival after relapse in pediatric acute myeloid leukemia (AML) remains poor, highlighting the critical importance of identifying prognostic factors to guide optimal relapse management. Methods We investigated the prognostic impact of multiparameter flow cytometry (MFC) measurable residual disease (MRD) in 188 patients with first ...

Survival by Race and Ethnicity in Children and Adolescents/Young Adults With Relapsed/Refractory Hodgkin Lymphoma: A Pooled Analysis of Children's Oncology Group Trials

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose Despite 5‐year survival rates of over 90% among children and adolescents/young adults (CAYAs) with classic Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL), 15%–20% relapse after frontline therapy. Prior analysis of frontline Children's Oncology Group (COG) clinical trials demonstrated that, despite similar rates of relapse, non‐Hispanic Black (NHB) and ...

Analysis of Wind Speed Characteristics Along a High-Speed Railway

open access: yesApplied Sciences
The safe operation of high-speed railways (HSRs) is significantly challenged by strong winds. Accurate wind speed prediction along HSRs is crucial for ensuring the safety of train operations.

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.
