Resilience of floral scent emission after florivory

Florivory is thought to affect floral traits, impacting pollination. However, our data suggest a stability in post‐florivory scent emission, which may guarantee the maintenance of pollinator visitation regardless of florivory, indicating a resilience of natural systems with multiple and simultaneous interactions. Obesity and the Politics of Taddeo di Bartolo's Inferno

Stigma, self‐styling and ‘forced accents’ among English L2 speakers in Spain

Abstract This paper examines the relationship between shame, stigma and accent for non‐native English speakers in Spain. The low English competence of the Spanish population frequently constitutes a source of individual and collective stigma – which includes the apparent undesirability of Spanish‐sounding English.
