Biohybrid Tendons Enhance the Power‐to‐Weight Ratio and Modularity of Muscle‐Powered Robots
Biohybrid robots powered by skeletal muscle actuators are capable of dynamically adapting to environmental cues. This study takes inspiration from native muscle–tendon architecture by leveraging tough hydrogels as synthetic tendons for muscle actuators to enhance the power‐to‐weight ratio and modularity of biohybrid machines.

MGM as a Large‐Scale Pretrained Foundation Model for Microbiome Analyses in Diverse Contexts
We present the Microbial General Model (MGM), a transformer‐based foundation model pretrained on over 260,000 microbiome samples. MGM learns contextualized microbial representations via self‐supervised language modeling, enabling robust transfer learning, cross‐regional generalization, keystone taxa discovery, and prompt‐guided generation of realistic,

Embedded Lexica: Unlabeled Corpora using Word Embeddings
Researchers frequently need to extract information, such as events or target topics, from large corpora. One common solution involves applying semantically-related keywords to identify tweets, news articles, or other documents of interest. However, it is rarely the case that dictionaries of relevance to the topic, event, or language both exist and are

An evolutionary molecular dynamics platform is used to design P1.6, a membrane‐active peptide that senses lipid packing defects in viral envelopes. P1.6 adopts a stabilized α‐helical structure upon membrane contact, disrupts virus‐like liposomes, and damages HIV‐1 particles.

Corticosteroids improve the efficacy of immune checkpoint blockade therapy in metastatic murine breast cancer. By normalizing the tumor immune microenvironment, corticosteroids reduce immunosuppressive signals, restore T‐cell function, and promote antitumor immune responses, resulting in enhanced tumor control.
