The role of novel thiophene‐based ligands with halogen substitutions in enhancing the chiroptical and optoelectronic properties of 2D chiral HOIPs has been investigated. By tailoring ligand design, enhanced CD and CPL properties are achieved, with improved CPL discrimination in photodetectors.

Kinetic Regimes of Hydrogen Absorption in Thin Films
Knowledge of the hydrogen incorporation mechanisms in thin layers in relation to the amount absorbed is essential to design coatings and devices compatible with hydrogen‐based technologies. A combination of simultaneous in situ methods gives detailed insight into the hydrogenation of a prototypical hydrogen absorber layer in a time‐dependent manner ...

8-Letter and 9-Letter Word Networks [PDF]
My first contributions to Word Ways were on word ladders and networks. In Word Network Spans in the OSPD in Feb 1989, I analyzed 4-letter, 5-letter and 6-letter word lists; in More Network SPans in the OSPD in AUgust 1990 I briefly studied 7-letter ...

Self‐Healing and Stretchable Synaptic Transistor
A self‐healing stretchable synaptic transistor (3S‐T) is realized using a p‐PVDF‐HFP‐DBP/PDMS‐MPU‐IU bilayer as gate insulator, where dipole‐dipole interaction enhances polarization to achieve a large memory window. Leveraging its neuronal biomimicry, the synaptic transistor demonstrates electrically compatibility with the biological brain. Furthermore,

Enriching very large ontologies using the WWW
This paper explores the possibility to exploit text on the world wide web in order to enrich the concepts in existing ontologies. First, a method to retrieve documents from the WWW related to a concept is described. These document collections are used 1)

Word Lists With All Starting Letters [PDF]
How large must a word list be in order to have a reasonable chance of including words starting with every letter of the alphabet? Because word starting with X are far less likely to occur than others, this question essentially reduces to the probability
