Sustainable Development in a Dynamic World--Transforming Institutions, Growth, and Quality of Life
Three billion people will be added to the world ' s population over the next 50 years and 2.8 billion people today already live on less than $2 a day-almost all in developing countries.

Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...

Proposals to contain health care costs often draw from 1 of 2 primary policy approaches—price regulation or market competition. These approaches are often viewed as in conflict, even though some health economists have long argued that they may be ...

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

Measurement Theory, Nomological Machine And Measurement Uncertainties (In Classical Physics)
Measurement is said to be the basis of exact sciences as the process of assigning numbers to matter (things or their attributes), thus making it possible to apply the mathematically formulated laws of nature to the empirical world.

Multi-View Collaborative Fusion and Contrastive Learning for Recommendation
In knowledge-enhanced recommendation algorithms, Graph Neural Network (GNN)-based methods have become the dominant paradigm due to their powerful capabilities in modeling higher-order structural information. However, they still face two key challenges: 1)

Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...

The ubiquitin‐proteasome system and autophagy as guardians of the cellular proteome
This Perspective covers the three principles governing the crosstalk between the ubiquitin‐proteasome system and autophagy in cellular proteostasis: (1) a shared ubiquitin code routing substrates via shuttle factors or autophagy receptors; (2) spatial compartmentalization into phase‐separated degradation hubs and organelle‐specific modules (exemplified

Christians often conclude from the apostle Paul’s warning: “Do not be yoked together with unbelievers” (2 Cor. 6:14), that he condemns all contact with non-Christians and advocates total withdrawal from the world.
