Wormholes and entanglement [PDF]

open access: yesClassical and Quantum Gravity, 2014
Maldacena and Susskind have proposed a correspondence between wormholes and entanglement, dubbed ER=EPR. We study this in the context of three-dimensional topological quantum field theory (TQFT), where we show that the formation of a wormhole is the same process as creating a particle–antiparticle pair.

Quantum Gravity Correction to Hawking Radiation of the 2+1-Dimensional Wormhole

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, 2020
We carry out the Hawking temperature of a 2+1-dimensional circularly symmetric traversable wormhole in the framework of the generalized uncertainty principle (GUP).

Traversable wormhole solutions in f(R) gravity via Karmarkar condition

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2020
Motivated by recent proposals of possible wormhole shape functions, we construct a wormhole shape function by employing the Karmarkar condition for static traversable wormhole geometry.

Transmission of low-energy scalar waves through a traversable wormhole

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2020
We study the scattering of low-energy massless and massive minimally coupled scalar fields by an asymptotically flat traversable wormhole. We provide a comprehensive treatment of this problem offering analytic expressions for the transmission and ...

A cluster-based approach against wormhole attacks in MANETs among smart grid

open access: yesFrontiers in Energy Research, 2022
Mobile ad hoc networks in smart grid become more and more popular and significant. However, the deployment scenarios, the functionality requirements and the limited capabilities make them vulnerable to a large group of attacks, e.g., wormhole attacks. In

Wormholes without exotic matter in nonminimal torsion-matter coupling f(T) gravity

open access: yes上海师范大学学报. 自然科学版, 2023
Wormholes are hypothetical tunnels that connect remote parts of spacetime. In General Relativity, wormholes are threaded by exotic matter that violates the energy conditions.

Research on wormhole attacks in wireless mesh networks

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2011
In order to detect the wormhole attacks effectively in wireless mesh network,a wormhole attack model ac-cording to the MR-LQSR(multi-radio link-quality source routing) protocol proposed by Microsoft was presented. Then, the characteristics of wireless mesh

A Brief Review of Wormhole Cosmic Censorship

open access: yesAxioms
Spacetime singularities, in the sense that curvature invariants are infinite at some point or region, are thought to be impossible to observe, and must be hidden within an event horizon.

Echoes from asymmetric wormholes and black bounce

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2022
The time evolutions of the field perturbations in certain asymmetric wormhole and black bounce backgrounds are investigated. It is found that the echo signals arise only in some wormhole cases.
