We obtain a large class of smooth Lorentzian p-brane wormholes in supergravities in various dimensions. They connect two asymptotically flat spacetimes. In cases where there is no dilaton involved in the solution, the wormhole can connect an AdS_n\times S^m in one asymptotic region to a flat spacetime in the other. We obtain explicit examples for (n,m)=

On a Class of Harko-Kovacs-Lobo Wormholes
The Harko, Kovács, and Lobo wormhole (HKLWH) metric contains two free parameters: one is the wormhole throat r0, and the other is a dimensionless deviation parameter γ with values ...

Competition Is the Underlying Mechanism Controlling Viscous Fingering and Wormhole Growth
Viscous fingering and wormhole growth are complex nonlinear unstable phenomena. We view both as the result of competition for water in which the capacity of an instability to grow depends on its ability to carry water.

Exact solutions of charged wormhole [PDF]
In this paper, the backreaction to the traversable Lorentzian wormhole spacetime by the scalar field or electric charge is considered to find the exact solutions.

Dilatonic wormholes: construction, operation, maintenance and collapse to black holes [PDF]
The CGHS two-dimensional dilaton gravity model is generalized to include a ghost Klein-Gordon field, i.e. with negative gravitational coupling. This exotic radiation supports the existence of static traversible wormhole solutions, analogous to Morris ...

Quantum Gravity Correction to Hawking Radiation of the 2+1-Dimensional Wormhole
We carry out the Hawking temperature of a 2+1-dimensional circularly symmetric traversable wormhole in the framework of the generalized uncertainty principle (GUP).

Traversable wormhole solutions in f(R) gravity via Karmarkar condition
Motivated by recent proposals of possible wormhole shape functions, we construct a wormhole shape function by employing the Karmarkar condition for static traversable wormhole geometry.

A MODIFIED AODV PROTOCOL TO MITIGATE COMBINED IMPACT OF MULTIPLE ATTACKS IN MANET [PDF]
Since past two decades MANET researchers have focused on providing security solution to MANET to protect them from various network attacks. Most of the recent security approaches are restricted to address specific attacks only.

String Supported Wormhole Spacetimes and Causality Violations [PDF]
We construct a static axisymmetric wormhole from the gravitational field of two Schwarzschild particles which are kept in equilibrium by strings (ropes) extending to infinity.

Model-independent traversable wormholes from baryon acoustic oscillations
In this paper, we investigate the model-independent traversable wormholes from baryon acoustic oscillations. Firstly, we place the statistical constraints on the average dark energy equation of state $\omega_{av}$ by only using BAO data.
