AES Algorithm of Improving WPAN Throughput
Wireless Personal Communications, 2009The throughput of WPAN (Wireless Personal Area Network) based on Bluetooth was decided by the interference of Bluetooth piconets in the network. The interference was decided by the hamming correlation of Bluetooth FH (Frequency Hopping) selected sequence. In order to improve the WPAN throughput, the WPAN model and data packet collision model were built

Watching for Weakness in Wild WPANs
MILCOM 2013 - 2013 IEEE Military Communications Conference, 2013Low-rate Wireless Personal Area Networks (WPANs) are inexpensive to deploy and operate, making them a popular choice for monitoring and controlling infrastructure. Many simulations have been conducted to study WPANs for performance, scalability and security.

Proceedings of the International Conference on Mobile Technology, Applications, and Systems - Mobility '08, 2008
WPANs (Wireless Personal Area Networks) fill an important role in local area network technology complementing traditional IEEE 802.11 Wireless LANs. Bluetooth, ZigBee and NFC (Near Field Communications) have emerged as the key WPAN technologies. They are however subject to the usual range of security vulnerabilities found in wireless LANs such as ...

Channel Model for Millimeter Wave WPAN
2007 IEEE 18th International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications, 2007Proposed PHY layer schemes are evaluated using the channel model that corresponds to each usage model in IEEE802.15.3c standardization process. NICT has contributed TSV model to the IEEE802.15.3c channel model subgroup. The model developed by NICT has been selected as the model for the evaluation of mandatory simulations.

Dynamic Multichannel Scheduling for 802.15.3 WPANs
IEEE GLOBECOM 2007-2007 IEEE Global Telecommunications Conference, 2007We propose a dynamic scheduler for multichannel 802.15.3 WPANs which exploits both channel reuse and interference control. A maximal-weighted-matching based scheduling scheme is designed to arrange simultaneous transmissions in each single channel and a multichannel assignment scheme is proposed to obtain the ultimate schedule in each superframe.

Usage of mobile agent in configuring WPANs
7th International Conference on Control, Automation, Robotics and Vision, 2002. ICARCV 2002., 2004A number of mobile smart devices such as PDAs and sophisticated mobile phones are already available, and the trend is set to continue with more devices becoming wirelessly connectable and communicable. This implies that Wireless Personal Area Networks (WPANs) are likely to become commonplace in the near future. Since a WPAN is personal and likely to be
