An improved mathematical programming method for wrinkling prediction of cloths

International Journal of Clothing Science and Technology, 2005
PurposeAn improved mathematical programming method for numerical simulation of cloth wrinkling is investigated.Design/methodology/approachCloth is modeled as the network of bars (called bar network) or membrane elements with a special nonlinear mechanical constitutive law in the finite element analysis.FindingsCompared with conventional numerical ...

The improved progressive probabilistic hough transform for paper wrinkle detection

2012 IEEE 11th International Conference on Signal Processing, 2012
Wrinkles are the typical paper defects that usually appear in paper production. Because wrinkle has line patterns in paper image, it can be detected through Hough Transform (HT) based methods. Among those methods, Standard Hough Transform (SHT) is a robust line detection approach, but the long time computation handicaps its application in real-time ...

Improvement of Wrinkles in Roll-to-Roll Microwave Plasma CVD Graphene

MRS Proceedings, 2015
ABSTRACTWrinkle-less graphene films are obtained through roll-to-roll microwave plasma chemical vapor deposition by using flexible copper/polyimide (Cu/PI) webs. Raman spectra suggests that the average domain size of the obtained graphene on the flexible Cu/PI is almost the same compared to the graphene on a Cu web that includes wrinkles.

Improvement of Tension‐Type Headache When Treating Wrinkles With Botulinum Toxin A Injections

Headache: The Journal of Head and Face Pain, 1999
Botulinum toxin A has been used to treat a spectrum of neuromuscular diseases. In recent years, it has become an accepted treatment for dynamic facial wrinkles. Following treatment of glabella and forehead wrinkles with botulinum toxin A, 9 of 134 patients coincidentally reported improvement of tension‐type headache.
