This work presents a state‐adaptive Koopman linear quadratic regulator framework for real‐time manipulation of a deformable swab tool in robotic environmental sampling. By combining Koopman linearization, tactile sensing, and centroid‐based force regulation, the system maintains stable contact forces and high coverage across flat and inclined surfaces.

Chronic Osteomyelitis of Wrist Joint in an Immunocompromised Host [PDF]
Osteomyelitis is heterogenous in its pathophysiology, clinical presentation, and management. Osteomyelitis is generally categorized as acute or chronic based on histopathologic findings, rather than duration of the infection.

Automated poultry processing lines still rely on humans to lift slippery, easily bruised carcasses onto a shackle conveyor. Deformability, anatomical variance, and hygiene rules make conventional suction and scripted motions unreliable. We present ChicGrasp, an end‐to‐end hardware‐software co‐designed imitation learning framework, to offer a ...

Here, we present a textile, wearable capacitive interface enabling multidirectional remote control by dynamically modulating electrode overlap and spacing via a freely gliding upper electrode. A forearm‐mounted prototype drives robotic and media tasks with 12–15 ms latency, maintains < 0.8% drift after 500 cycles, and remains stably functional at 90 ...

The double universal joint wrist on a manipulator: Solution of inverse position kinematics and singularity analysis [PDF]
This paper presents three methods to solve the inverse position kinematics position problem of the double universal joint attached to a manipulator: (1) an analytical solution for two specific cases; (2) an approximate closed form solution based on ...

Upper Extremity Biomechanical Model for Evaluation of Pediatric Joint Demands during Wheelchair Mobility [PDF]
Current methods for evaluating upper extremity (UE) dynamics during pediatric wheelchair use are limited. We propose a new model to characterize UE joint kinematics and kinetics during pediatric wheelchair mobility.

Durability of Soft Pneumatic Actuators: A Review and Benchmarking Protocol
Lack of durability is a key challenge hindering the broad scale adoption of soft pneumatic actuators (SPAs) in automation industries. This review provides a comprehensive overview of existing research on SPA durability, introduces a standardized durability benchmarking protocol to consolidate the testing of SPAs, and outlines promising directions for ...

Comparison Of Radiography Wrist Joint Posterior Anterior (Pa) Ulnar Deviation Central Ray Variation For Assessing Os Scaphoid [PDF]
Background: The technique of examining the wrist joint to see abnormalities in the carpalia region, especially in the scaphoid os, there is a special technique, namely ulnar deviation with variations of the central ray 150 to 250 proximally.
