Grazing Incidence X-ray Scattering from Magnetic Thin Films and Nanostructures [PDF]
Grazing incidence scattering of synchrotron x-rays has been used to characterize the structure of magnetic thin films and periodic nanostructures. The combined metal and metal oxide films have been chosen to clarify the effects of growth processing ...

CT10 regulator of kinase (CRK) and CRK‐Like (CRKL) are signaling adaptors driving cell adhesion, motility, differentiation, and proliferation. SH2‐domain containing (SH) proteins are enriched in YXXP motifs which when phosphorylated create preferred binding sites for CRK family SH2 domains.

2D planning for hip arthroplasty
Hip arthroplasty is a common surgery, the success of which largely depends on its planning. Traditionally, arthroplasty planning performed on X-ray film, but this method has many shortcomings, including the well-known systematic repression for analogue X-

Effect of terahertz irradiation on DNA damage repair in living cells
We investigated the effect of terahertz (THz) wave irradiation on DNA double‐strand break (DSB) repair in living cells. We found that THz irradiation enhanced DSB repair at specific frequencies, whereas heat treatment inhibited it, indicating that this effect is nonthermal and frequency‐specific.

Double axis X-Ray rocking curves simulation [PDF]
Double axis X-ray diffraction has been in use since 1920. Recently the layer structures of optoelectronic devices have been characterised to control the optical properties, for the purpose of optical communication.

ErB4 and NdB4 nanostructured powders are produced by mechanochemical synthesis. 5 h mechanical alloying and 4 M HCl acid leaching are used in the production. ErB4 and NdB4 powders exhibit maximum magnetization of 0.4726 emu g−1 accompanied with an antiferromagnetic‐to‐paramagnetic phase transition at about TN = 18 K and 0.132 emu g−1 with a maximum at ...

Fabrication of Flexible PVA/Polyaniline/WS2 Composite Film and Its High Capacitance Behaviors
A flexible ternary composite film based on polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), polyaniline (PANI) and WS2 was prepared via the electropolymerization of the prefabricated PVA/aniline/WS2 hydrogel. As-prepared PVA/PANI/WS2 composite film was characterized by scanning
