The 3rd‐generation magnetic super‐stable mineralizer M‐MgAl‐700 features a core‐shell structure, strong superparamagnetism, large surface area, and abundant oxygen defects. It achieves exceptional Cd(II) and As(V) mineralization capacities, reducing both pollutants in co‐contaminated water and soil to meet national standards.

Improving sensitivity of XANES structural fit to the bridged metal–metal coordination
Hard X-ray absorption spectroscopy is a valuable in situ probe for non-destructive diagnostics of metal sites. The low-energy interval of a spectrum (XANES) contains information about the metal oxidation state, ligand type, symmetry and distances in the ...

XANES study of iron displacement in the haem of myoglobin
The XANES (X-ray absorption near edge structure) spectra of deoxy human adult haemoglobin (HbA) and myoglobin (Mb) have been measured at the wiggler beam line of the Frascati synchrotron radiation facility.

XANE: eXplainable Acoustic Neural Embeddings
We present a novel method for extracting neural embeddings that model the background acoustics of a speech signal. The extracted embeddings are used to estimate specific parameters related to the background acoustic properties of the signal in a non-intrusive manner, which allows the embeddings to be explainable in terms of those parameters.

Arsenic K-edge XANES study of REFeAsO oxypnictides
Arsenic K-edge X-ray absorption near-edge structure (XANES) spectroscopy has been used to investigate the local geometry around the pnictogen site in the REFeAsO (RE - La, Pr, Nd and Sm) oxypnictides, combined with full multiple-scattering calculations ...

Area normalization of HERFD-XANES spectra
The normalization of X-ray absorption near-edge structure (XANES) spectra is required for comparing spectral features and extracting quantitative information in analytical techniques such as linear combination analysis, principal component analysis and multivariate curve resolution. Most published data are normalized to the edge-jump, but normalization
