Peroxiredoxin 4 Involved in Spermatogenesis by Affecting Oxidative Stress and Ferroptosis
ABSTRACT Background The main functions of testes are sperm production and androgen secretion in testicular befitting microenvironment. Excessive level of the reactive oxygen species (ROS) from metabolism and cellular events can lead to oxidative stress (OS) and ferroptosis, which injure the functions of mitochondria and endoplasmic reticulum (ER) of ...

Determinacy Through Intertemporal Capital Adjustment Costs [PDF]
It is well known that if mild sector–specific externalities are considered, then the steady state of the standard two-sector real business cycle model can become locally indeterminate and endogenous business cycles can arise.

FPR2 activation mediates NOX‐dependent LAT1 expression and, in turn, promotes mTORC1 signaling. Upon stimulation with WKYMVm, the FPR2‐NOX2‐ROS axis upregulates LAT1 via increased c‐Myc phosphorylation and decreased miR‐126. Additionally, it promotes CD98 translocation to the plasma membrane.

Neoclassical Growth Model with Externalities [PDF]
This paper explores the local stability properties of the steady state in the twosector neoclassical growth model with sector–specific externalities. We show analytically that capital adjustment costs of any size preclude local indeterminacy nearby the ...

Modeling and Optimization of Complex Building Energy Systems with Deep Neural Networks
Modern buildings encompass complex dynamics of multiple electrical, mechanical, and control systems. One of the biggest hurdles in applying conventional model-based optimization and control methods to building energy management is the huge cost and ...

ABSTRACT Metal additive manufacturing (AM) provides a pathway for creating highly optimized components that would be difficult to produce using traditional manufacturing methods. However, regardless of printing parameters or postprocessing, porosity remains a prevalent challenge in AM components because strain concentrates in the vicinity of the pore ...

FY05 Xradia 3D (mu)XCT System Accomplishments
The Xradia 3D {mu}XCT system was delivered to LLNL on April 5, 2005. The system became operational the week of April 11, 2005. The Xradia 3D {mu}XCT system has been extensively used to scan several high-energy density physics (see Table 1) and other programmatic (NIF, E&E and DNT) materials, components and full assemblies. In this summary we only focus

Influence of spectra sewing on XCT measurement
The paper presents an analysis of the possible spectra manipulation and its consequence for the specific application of XCT. The focus was on the modification of the registered spectra dominantly by the sewing/stitching method. A model spectrum was created to analyse the possible behaviour of the spectral components when specifically arranged.
