In this chapter, we’ll show how to adopt XPC communication using Swift (passing structures over XPC, working with callbacks instead of delegates, and so on). You can find a sample at https://github.com/Alkenso/sXPC called sXPC_Sample.

Association of XPC polymorphisms with breast cancer risk
Breast Cancer Research and Treatment, 2011To the Editor, We read with great interest the article by Zheng W et al. [1], which assessed the association between Xeroderma Pigmentosum group C (XPC) polymorphisms and breast cancer risk with a meta-analysis. The results suggested that there was no significant association between either Lys939Gln or Ala499Val polymorphism and breast cancer risk in ...

DNA Repair, 2004
Mutational hot spots in the human p53 gene are well established in tumors in the human population and are frequently negative prognosticators of the clinical outcome. We previously developed a mouse model of skin cancer with mutations in the xeroderma pigmentosum group C gene (Xpc).

Association of XPC Gene Polymorphisms with Prostate Cancer Risk
Clinical Laboratory, 2016Defective DNA repair capacity caused by inherited polymorphisms could be associated with cancer susceptibility. One of the major repair pathways is Nucleotide Excision Repair (NER). We investigated Xeroderma Pigmentosum complementation group C (XPC) polymorphisms (Lys939Gln, PAT) with the risk of prostate cancer.154 confirmed prostate cancer patients ...

XPCS: Nanoscale motion and rheology
Current Opinion in Colloid & Interface Science, 2012Abstract X-ray photon correlation spectroscopy (XPCS) has emerged as a powerful technique for investigating slow, nanometer-scale structural dynamics in materials. This paper reviews major directions of recent XPCS research on complex fluids where significant information relevant to their rheological behavior has been obtained.

XPC interacts with both HHR23B and HHR23A in vivo
Mutation Research/DNA Repair, 1997XP group C protein (XPC) and a human homologue of RAD23, HHR23B, have previously been shown to copurify in a tightly associated complex. Here, we show that XPC interacts in vivo, by means of the yeast two-hybrid system, with both HHR23B and a second homologue of RAD23, HHR23A.

A Modified XPC Characterization for Polarimetric Channels
IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, 2011Models describing the polarimetric response of a multipath channel are considered. Conventional cross-polarization coupling (XPC) models are found to provide an ambiguous polarization representation and are sensitive to the receive antenna polarization configuration. These limitations are contrasted with polarization mode dispersion (PMD) models, which

XPC: Its Product and Biological Roles
2008The XPC protein is a component of a heterotrimeric complex that is essential for damage recognition in a nucleotide excision repair subpathway that operates throughout the genome. Biochemical analyses have revealed that the broad substrate specificity of this repair system is based on the structure-specific DNA binding properties of the XPC complex ...

Polymorphisms in XPC gene and risk for prostate cancer
Molecular Biology Reports, 2018Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP) in repair gene DNA such as XPC gene can reduce the DNA repair capacity (DRC). Reduced DRC induce genetic instability and may increase the susceptibility to prostate cancer (PC). We conducted a case-controls study to examine the relationship between XPC Lys939Gln and XPC-PAT polymorphisms and the risk for prostate ...
