XPS MultiQuant: multimodel XPS quantification software
Surface and Interface Analysis, 2004Abstract A program for quantitative evaluation of x‐ray photoelectron spectra has been developed to serve as a practical tool for surface chemists. The program uses the ‘classic’ approach of quantification and requires as input the integrated intensities of the measured XPS lines.

La0.6Sr0.4Fe0.6Co0.2Cu0.2O3-δ Powders by XPS
Surface Science Spectra, 2009In recent years, the growing interest in hydrogen energy has caused particularly large demand for catalysts used in the production of hydrogen and hydrogen-containing gases by the conversion of natural hydrocarbons. Perovskite oxides having the general formula of ABO3, where B usually designates a transition metal cation surrounded by six oxygen ions ...

Extreme Programming is not just for the lucky few projects where applications are built from scratch. Learn how XP's practices can be brought to bear on a poorly designed and untested legacy code base in need of salvation. The audience will operate on a J2EE version of the famous "Bowling Score" application, developed under a waterfall methodology and ...

Fundamental Aspects of XPS and the Development of XPS Imaging
Microscopy Today, 2011Our common introduction to the laws of chemistry is rooted in the bulk, steady-state phenomena of solution and gas chemistries. This eases the introduction of the mathematical structure required to explain our macroscopic measurements. We come to understand that chemical change is driven by local gradients in the bulk and that gradients are steepest ...

This session is an opportunity to learn more about the tools that enable teams to be extreme. Using a “fishbowl format”, participants will discuss and debate the pros and cons of such tools as Eclipse, IntelliJ and Visual Studio, NUnit and CSUnit, Continuous Integration and Cruise Control, FIT and Fitnesse, and more.

The Characteristics of XP Teams
2004What is special about XP teams? Adopting XP involves social change as well as technical change, but what characterises a successful team? What happens when a team takes on the 12 practices and four underlying values? This paper contributes empirical findings that help answer such questions. We expand on previous work that suggested four characteristics

Tin and various tin compounds have wide utility in coatings, electronics, and catalysts, as well as having numerous biological applications. Distinguishing between different tin compounds on surfaces is an important aspect of research in many of these disciplines. In this work, x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy has been used to obtain comparison spectra

Introducing Discipline to XP: Applying PRINCE2 on XP Projects
2008 3rd International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies: From Theory to Applications, 2008Agile methods are increasingly gaining momentum, and more and more growing as the market standard for software development. However agile methods suffer from the lack of disciplined planning. We will try in this paper to see the effect of introducing disciplined project management methodology on the flexibility and agility with which agile methods are ...
