A New Limonoid from Xylocarpus granatum
Chemistry of Natural Compounds, 2014A new limonoid, named xylocartin C (1), was isolated from the seeds of Xylocarpus granatum and its structure was elucidated on the basis of one- and two-dimensional NMR (including 1H, 13C NMR, DEPT, 1H–1H COSY, HSQC, HMBC, and NOESY).

Xyloccensin L, a novel limonoid from Xylocarpus granatum
Tetrahedron Letters, 2004The isolation and structure elucidation of xyloccensin L from the stem bark of Xylocarpus granatum is described. Xyloccensin L is a highly oxidized heptacyclic A, B, D-seco limonoid with an alpha-8, 30-epoxy ring and a rare 1, 29 oxygen bridge. (C) 2003 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

A limonoid from Xylocarpus granatum
Phytochemistry, 1996A new limonoid, xyloccensin K, has been isolated from the seeds of Xylocarpus granatum, along with mixtures of steroids and long chain fatty acids and alcohols. X-ray crystallography has shown that xyloccensin K is similar to a number of previously reported limonoids, but that it contains a tetrahydrofuran sub-unit with oxygen bridging from C-3 to C-8.

Antimalarial activity inXylocarpus granatum(Koen)
Natural Product Research, 2012The antimalarial activity of Xylocarpus granatum fruits and their active constituents gedunin and xyloccensin-I were investigated using an in vitro model in this study. The chloroform fraction of X. granatum fruits was found to show promising antimalarial activity using an in vitro model of Plasmodium falciparum. On purification of the active fraction,
