Analysis of the regulation of undecaprenyl diphosphate dephosphorylation in Escherichia coli
BacA, PgpB, and YbjG phosphatases are involved in undecaprenyl phosphate (C55P) synthesis in Escherichia coli. We analyzed the lipid contents and the gene expression in the gene‐disruption strains. Undecaprenyl diphosphate (C55PP) level increased in the bacA, ybjG double‐disruption strain, but C55P levels were similar in all strains.

Application of Generalised sequential crossover of languages to generalised splicing [PDF]
This paper outlines an application of iterated version of generalised sequential crossover of two languages (which in some sense, an abstraction of the crossover of chromosomes in living organisms) in studying some classes of the newly proposed generalised splicing ($GS$) over two languages. It is proved that, for $X,Y \in \{FIN, REG, LIN, CF, CS, RE \}

ABSTRACT C‐truncating variants in the charged multivesicular body protein 2B (CHMP2B) gene are a rare cause of frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD), previously identified only in Denmark, Belgium, and China. We report a novel CHMP2B splice‐site variant (c.35‐1G>A) associated with familial FTLD in Spain. The cases were two monozygotic male twins who

HPDL Variant Type Correlates With Clinical Disease Onset and Severity
ABSTRACT Objective Recently, a mitochondrial encephalopathy due to biallelic HPDL variants was described, associated with a broad range of clinical manifestations ranging from severe, infantile‐onset neurodegeneration to adolescence‐onset hereditary spastic paraplegia. HPDL converts 4‐hydroxyphenylpyruvate acid (4‐HPPA) into 4‐hydroxymandelate (4‐HMA),

Long Non-Coding RNAs Differentially Expressed in Swine Fetuses
Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are non-coding transcripts involved in various biological processes. The Y chromosome is known for determining the male sex in mammals. LncRNAs on the Y chromosome may play important regulatory roles.

Exploring the Multifractal Behavior of the Human Genome T2T-CHM13v2.0: Graphical Representations and Cytogenetics [PDF]
In this work, we applied the Chaos Game Representation (CGR) to the complete human genomic sequence T2T-CHM13v2.0, analyzing the entire chromosome assembly and each chromosome separately, including mitochondrial DNA. Multifractal spectra were determined using two types of box-counting coverage, revealing slight variations across most chromosomes. While

Large and Small Data Blow-Up Solutions in the Trojan Y Chromosome Model [PDF]
The Trojan Y Chromosome Strategy (TYC) is an extremely well investigated biological control method for controlling invasive populations with an XX-XY sex determinism. In \cite{GP12, WP14} various dynamical properties of the system are analyzed, including well posedness, boundedness of solutions, and conditions for extinction or recovery.
