Yersinia pseudotuberculosis in China [PDF]
AbstractThirty strains of Yersinia pseudotuberculosis were isolated from rabbits (17 strains), wild rats (9 strains) and house rats (4 strains) in China between 1990 and 1993. The biochemical properties of these isolates were identical with those of Y. pseudotuberculosis and no special characteristics were found in these strains.

Yersinia type III secretion : send in the effectors [PDF]
Pathogenic Yersinia spp (Yersinia pestis, Yersinia pseudotuberculosis, and Yersinia enterocolitica) have evolved an exquisite method for delivering powerful effectors into cells of the host immune system where they inhibit signaling cascades and block ...

Invasin expression in Yersinia pseudotuberculosis [PDF]
A 3.2-kb region on the chromosome of Yersinia pseudotuberculosis, called inv, encodes invasin, a 103-kDa protein of the bacterial outer membrane. Invasin mediates bacterial entry into cultured animal cells. Six Y. pseudotuberculosis strains isolated from animal or human infections were analyzed for the presence of inv-related sequences with a ...

Yersinia pseudotuberculosis Typing Using Multi-Locus Variable-Number Tandem Repeat Analysis
Estimated has been efficacy of MLVA25 method, used for differentiation and clusterization of Yersinia pestis strains, in reference to Yersinia pseudotuberculosis strains, as well as the search of Y. pseudotuberculosis strains mostly closely related to Y.

Immunotropic and Immunogenic Properties of Nonspecific Yersinia Porins
The purpose of the study is to summarize our own data and literature data on the significance of poreforming proteins of the outer membrane of Yersinia as factors of their pathogenicity and as diagnostic and protective antigens, and their role in ...

Acute kidney injury associated with Yersinia pseudotuberculosis infection: Forgotten but not gone
Background : Yersinia pseudotuberculosis is known to cause fever, gastroenteritis, or acute kidney injury (AKI). There have been several Y. pseudotuberculosis infection outbreaks to date associated with ingestion of contaminated food or unsterile water.

Yersinia pestis Interacts With SIGNR1 (CD209b) for Promoting Host Dissemination and Infection
Yersinia pestis, a Gram-negative bacterium and the etiologic agent of plague, has evolved from Yersinia pseudotuberculosis, a cause of a mild enteric disease. However, the molecular and biological mechanisms of how Y. pseudotuberculosis evolved to such a
