Application of a Yield and Egg-per-Recruit Model to the Lobster Fishery in the Bay of Fundy
North American Journal of Fisheries Management, 1985Abstract A dynamic pool model was applied to assess the effect of changes in fishing pressure, increases in recruit size, and establishing a maximum size or a ‘closed window’ size regulation on yield and eggs per recruit for lobsters (Homarus americanus) in the Bay of Fundy.

Yield-per-recruit and egg-per-recruit analyses of the Omani abalone, Haliotis mariae
Marine and Freshwater Research, 1995The fecundity, size at sexual maturity, sex ratios and total mortality of Haliotis mariae on the Dhofar coast of the northern Arabian Sea were measured. These data, and estimates of the growth rate, were used for yield-per-recruit and egg-per-recruit analyses. Maximum yields occur at 3+ to 4+ years of age, depending on the natural mortality rate chosen.

North American Journal of Fisheries Management, 1990Abstract Adult Alaska plaice Pleuronectes quadrituberculatus are abundant over the continental shelf (40–110-m depths) during the summer, move to the outer shelf during the winter, and return to the shelf in spring.
