Liquid Crystalline Self‐Assembly with Accelerated Kinetics and Higher Structural Orderliness in Centrifugal Acceleration Fields Beyond 7251 Times Gravity of Earth

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
How do chemical and physical processes involving multiple phases develop on compact astrophysical objects such as white dwarf stars? Herein, entropy‐driven self‐assembly of rod‐shaped nanoparticles in centrifugal acceleration fields up to 7251 times the gravity of Earth is investigated, where strong acceleration fields accelerated the kinetics of phase

Targeting PTBP3‐Mediated Alternative Splicing of COX11 Induces Cuproptosis for Inhibiting Gastric Cancer Peritoneal Metastasis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The splicing factor PTBP3 promotes COX11 exon skipping, allowing gastric cancer organoids to evade cuproptosis. Antisense oligonucleotide drugs targeting PTBP3‐mediated COX11 alternative splicing, in combination with copper ionophores, promote cuproptosis in organoids, thereby providing a therapeutic approach for gastric cancer peritoneal metastasis ...

Online Safety for All: Sociocultural Insights from a Systematic Review of Youth Online Safety in the Global South [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
Youth online safety research in HCI has historically centered on perspectives from the Global North, often overlooking the unique particularities and cultural contexts of regions in the Global South. This paper presents a systematic review of 66 youth online safety studies published between 2014 and 2024, specifically focusing on regions in the Global ...

CNPY2 Aggravates Renal Tubular Cell Ferroptosis in Diabetic Nephropathy by Regulating PERK/ATF4/CHAC1 Pathway and MAM Integrity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Canopy FGF signaling regulator 2 (CNPY2) which is contributed to ERS is upregulated in the renal tubules of patients with diabetic nephropathy (DN). Mechanistically, CNPY2 may regulate ferroptosis and MAM integrity in renal tubular epithelial cells through PERK/ATF4/CHAC1 pathway, thereby promoting the progression of DN.
