Control Strategies for Open-End Winding Drives Operating in the Flux-Weakening Region [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
This paper presents and compares control strategies for three-phase open-end winding drives operating in the flux-weakening region. A six-leg inverter with a single dc-link is associated with the machine in order to use a single energy source.

Zeros of recurrence sequences [PDF]

open access: yesBulletin of the Australian Mathematical Society, 1991
We give an upper bound for the number of zeros of recurrence sequences defined over an algebraic number field in terms of their order, the degree of their field of definition and the number of prime ideal divisors of the characteristic roots of the sequence.

THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE THEORY OF INSTANTANEOUS POWER OF THREE-PHASE NETWORK IN TERMS OF NETWORK CENTRISM

open access: yesElectrical engineering & Electromechanics, 2017
Purpose. Information technologies allow multidimensional analysis of information about the state of the power system in a single information space in terms of providing network-centric approach to control and use of unmanned aerial vehicles as tools for ...

IEC 61850-Based Centralized Protection against Single Line-To-Ground Faults in Ungrounded Distribution Systems

open access: yesEnergies, 2021
We developed an International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 61850-based centralized protection scheme to prevent single line-to-ground (SLG) faults in the feeders and busbars of ungrounded distribution systems.

Linear recurrence sequences without zeros [PDF]

open access: yesCzechoslovak Mathematical Journal, 2014
There are two main results in the paper. In order to quote them we recall the following. Given a positive integer \(d\) and \(2d\) fixed integers \(a_0,\dots ,a_{d-1}\) and \(x_0,\dots ,x_{d-1}\) with nonzero \(a_0\); a linear recurrent sequence \((x_n)\) of order \(d\) is defined by these data if \[ x_{n+d}=\sum_{j=0}^{d-1}a_jx_{n+j} \] for all ...

ASSESSMENT OF CONSUMER IMPACT ON VOLTAGE ASYMMETRY BY THE ZERO SEQUENCE AT THE POINT OF COMMON CONNECTION

open access: yesВестник Северо-Кавказского федерального университета, 2022
The article presents a technique for assessment the level of consumers’ impact on the voltage asymmetry by the zero sequence at the point of common connection. The results of a computational experiment that determine the possibility of using the level of

Pattern Frequency Sequences and Internal Zeros

open access: yesAdvances in Applied Mathematics, 2002
Consider the number of permutations in the symmetric group on n letters that contain c copies of a given pattern. As c varies (with n held fixed) these numbers form a sequence whose properties we study for the monotone patterns and the patterns 1, l, l-1, ..., 2. We show that, except for the patterns 1, 2 and 2, 1 where the sequence is well-known to be
