Butyrylcholinesterase level in poisoned patients by phosphide compounds

open access: yesCaspian Journal of Internal Medicine, 2019
Background: Metal phosphides are widely used as a rodenticide and insecticide and poisoning with these substances has a very high mortality. The aim of this study was to evaluate the butyrylcholinesterase (BuCh) level in poisoning with metal phosphides ...

Rotational Anisotropy Raman Spectrometer for High‐Sensitivity Crystallographic Symmetry Analysis

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
We introduce rotational‐anisotropy Raman spectroscopy, an enhanced scheme that overcomes the limitations of traditional polarization‐resolved Raman techniques. This method reveals previously inaccessible phonon symmetries and resolves directional anisotropy of phonon‐polaritons in benchmark crystals, establishing a powerful new tool for characterizing ...

Heterogeneous Integration of Multi‐Band Mode‐Locked and Single‐Mode Lasers on an Extended Commercial SiN Platform

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
Micro‐transfer printing enables GaAs and InP gain materials to be integrated on a commercial silicon nitride photonic platform. The resulting chip supports O‐ and C‐band comb and single‐mode lasers, demonstrating a scalable route toward multi‐material, multi‐wavelength, and multifunctional integrated light sources.

Assessing Potential Risk to Alligators, \u3ci\u3eAlligator mississippiensis\u3c/i\u3e, from Nutria Control with Zinc Phosphide Rodenticide Baits [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Nutria, Myocastor coypus, populations must be reduced when they cause substantial wetland damage. Control can include the rodenticide zinc phosphide, but the potential impacts to American alligators, Alligator mississippiensis, must be assessed. The mean
