Metal‐Organic Framework‐Templated Deconstruction‐Reconstruction Enables One‐Dimensional to Two‐Dimensional Self‐Assembly of Transition Metal Phosphates for High‐Performance Ammonia Sensing

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
One‐dimensional nickel phosphate nanofibres are transformed into two‐dimensional quasi‐nanosheets through a metal‐organic framework‐templated deconstruction‐reconstruction strategy. The hierarchical nanofibre‐assembled architecture provides rich mesoporosity, accessible adsorption sites, and rapid ammonia diffusion, enabling high‐performance QCM ...

Towards Sustainable Energy‐Saving Hydrogen Production: Recent Advances in Tungsten‐Based Urea Oxidation Electrocatalysts

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
This work presents tungsten‐modified nickel‐based catalysts for the urea oxidation reaction, highlighting strategies to boost catalytic performance. It focuses on tuning electronic structure, enriching accessible active sites, and designing advanced catalyst structures, providing guidance for the rational development of high‐performance UOR catalysts ...

Field evaluations of thermal optics and tracking tunnels for small mammal surveys at airports and grass dominated habitats

open access: yesWildlife Society Bulletin, EarlyView.
Small mammal survey tools are needed at airports to help inform aircraft strike‐risk management. We evaluated thermal optics and tracking tunnels as small mammal survey tools. We conclude that thermal optics would not be a viable survey tool for mouse‐sized mammals (19‐41 g) at airfields and other thick grass habitats unless grass height was maintained

Determination of Zinc Phosphide Residues in Corn (\u3ci\u3eZea mays\u3c/i\u3e) Grain, Fodder, and Forage [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
Zinc phosphide (ZN3P2) is an acute rodenticide. One of its current uses employs application as a grain bait or pellet at the time of planting to reduce agricultural losses by field rodents.

Effect of dietary protein on zinc phosphide toxicity in albino rats (Rattus norvegicus).

open access: yes, 2001
Adult male and female albino rats (R. norvegicus) were administered rodenticide, zinc phosphide ranging from 4, 2, 1, 0.5, 0.25 and 0.125% in the diet containing 10(A), 17(B) and 24%(C) protein.

Conserving Rodent Pests in Transition Toward Endangered Status

open access: yesIntegrative Zoology, EarlyView.
Rodent control invariably takes place in the context of ecosystems heavily modified by agriculture. Together, they are potent drivers of rodent decline and endangerment. Nineteen percent of 2349 rodent species evaluated in the IUCN Red List of threatened species are of some conservation concern.

Behavior‐Based Rodent Management: Mechanisms, Challenges, and Opportunities

open access: yesIntegrative Zoology, EarlyView.
Management of rodent pests often relies upon their decisions about whether or not to interact with management tools such as baits and traps. These decisions are shaped by behavioral motivations that can vary with environmental context, over time, and between individuals, which provide both challenges and opportunities for control.

Replication Data for: Long-term protection of crystalline zinc phosphide under atmospheric conditions

open access: yes
Earth-abundant zinc phosphide (Zn3P2) holds great promise as a photovoltaic absorber for thin-film applications, owing to its direct bandgap of approximately 1.5 eV and its high absorption coefficient in the visible spectrum.
