On the mechanism of ion exchange in zirconium phosphates—XXII mixed zirconium titanium phosphates
Journal of Inorganic and Nuclear Chemistry, 1978Abstract α-Titanium phosphate, Ti(HPO4)2·H2O, was found to form two sodium ion exchanged phases. A half exchanged phase of ideal composition TiNaH(PO4)2·4H2O formed first. However, before all of the titanium phosphate was converted to this phase a second phase of higher Na+ content formed. Thus, a three phase solid existed until sufficient sodium ion

Zirconium Phosphate Supported MOF Nanoplatelets
Inorganic Chemistry, 2016We report a rare example of the preparation of HKUST-1 metal-organic framework nanoplatelets through a step-by-step seeding procedure. Sodium ion exchanged zirconium phosphate, NaZrP, nanoplatelets were judiciously selected as support for layer-by-layer (LBL) assembly of Cu(II) and benzene-1,3,5-tricarboxylic acid (H3BTC) linkers. The first layer of Cu(

Fluoride anion interaction has been explored for the first time to investigate how the structure of sodium zirconium phosphate (NZP) and calcium zirconium phosphate (CZP) can be altered in its presence. Different compositions were made by adding NaF and CaF2 in CZP and NZP matrices respectively.

A layered derivative of α-zirconium phosphate containing L-(+)-serine covalently attached to the inorganic layer has been prepared by allowing Zr fluoro complexes to decompose in the presence of L-(+)-phosphoserine. On the basis of thermogravimetric weight loss and C,H,N elemental analyses, the layered compound obtained has been formulated as Zr[HOOCCH(

Polyaniline intercalated into zeolites, zirconium phosphate and zirconium arsenate
Journal of Physical Organic Chemistry, 1994AbstractAniline (or aniline hydrochloride) was intercalated into zeolite, zirconium phosphate and zirconium arsenate (proton form and sodium form) and subsequently oxidized to polyaniline (PAN) by ammonium peroxodisulphate. The structure of PAN in the host was studied by electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy.

Abstract The Na 2 Zr(PO 4 ) 2 with morphologies of microflower or square-like sheet were prepared from phosphate solution and zirconium oxychloride by hydrothermal treatment at 180 °C for a short time. It was found that the different phosphate solution conditions played a vital role in crystal growth of Na 2 Zr(PO 4 ) 2 .

Abstract The intercalation of n -propylamine, n -butylamine and ethylenediamine by the layered compound α-zirconium phosphate has been examined. Each of the amines forms a number of phases whose interlayer spacings are indicative of the orientation of the amines within the layers.

Synthesis of sodium zirconium phosphates
Polyhedron, 1986Abstract Zr(O3PONa)2 · nH2O can be prepared as a single crystalline phase by direct precipitation in the presence of HF. This material is a powder. When a single crystal of α-HZrP is exchanged with Na+, Zr(O3PONa)2 · nH2O is obtained as a powder-like crystal.
