Ionic Conductivity of Zirconium Phosphate

Journal of The Electrochemical Society, 1962
Conductivity measurements were made on zirconium phosphate prepared using an excess of phosphoric acid and not subjected to high temperatures. Measurements were made of conductivity vs temperature. In order to determine the thermal stability of the zirconium phosphate, a thermogravimetric analysis was conducted.

Characterization of hemoglobin immobilized on γ-zirconium phosphate

Colloids and Surfaces B: Biointerfaces, 2004
The fact that different gamma-zirconium phosphate (gamma-ZrP) preintercalation method induced varied degree and type of conformational change of the adsorption protein was confirmed by characterization techniques including circular dichroism (CD), fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) analysis.

Inhibition of mineralization by a calcium zirconium phosphate coating

Journal of Biomedical Materials Research Part B: Applied Biomaterials, 2008
AbstractBioactive ceramics used as coating materials combine the conductive properties of a bioceramic with the mechanical stability of the metal implant. We studied a calcium zirconium phosphate‐containing coating material, FA‐CZP [Ca5(PO4)3F, CaZr4(PO4)6], that is relatively insoluble in the biological milieu.

Intercalates of zirconium phosphates and phosphonates

1991
Abstract Tetravalent metals such as Zr, Ti, Sn, Ce, Th, etc. can be bound to oxygens belonging to XO4 and/or RXO3 groups (X = pentavalent element; R =inorganic or organic group such as -H, -OH, -CH3, -C6H5, etc.) and from such a combination many fibrous, layered, and three-dimensional structures can be obtained.

Zirconium phosphates on silica matrix

Solid State Ionics, 1993
Abstract Zirconium phosphates on silica matrices are of interest for potential practical applications in ion exhange, ionic conductivity and catalysis. The α- and γ-layered forms of zirconium phosphate on a silica matrix were prepared and characterized by X-ray powder diffraction patterns and by their thermal behaviour.

X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and catalytic activity of $alpha;-zirconium phosphate and zirconium phosphate sulfophenylphosphonate

Journal of Catalysis, 1990
X-ray photoelectron spectroscopic (XPS) analyses were performed on α-zirconium phosphate (ZrP) and on an organic derivative of ZrP, zirconium phosphate sulfophenylphosphonate (ZrPS). The XPS results show that the change of half of the phosphate groups in ZrP to sulfophenylphosphonate groups in ZrPS changes the binding energy levels for some electrons ...
