Polyether derivatives of zirconium phosphate

Inorganic Chemistry, 1985
Le phosphate de zirconium-γ, Zr(HPO 4 ) 2 •2H 2 O, avec des espaces interlamellaires de 12,2 A, reagit avec des solutions d'ethylene glycol avec formation d'esters de glycol du phosphate de Zr.

More on crystalline zirconium phosphates

Journal of Inorganic and Nuclear Chemistry, 1973
Abstract Heating α-zirconium phosphate (α-ZrP) for long periods of time leads to the formation of two new phases ζ-ZrP and η-ZrP. The former phase is similar in structure to the phase obtained from solid-solid ion exchange reactions at low metal ion loadings.

Acidity of crystalline zirconium phosphate

Journal of Inorganic and Nuclear Chemistry, 1978
Abstract The acid strength distribution has been measured for the crystalline zirconium phosphate thermally treated at various temperatures. There are two types of acids with remarkably different strength of acidity from one another; +4.8 ≥ Ho ≥ + 3.3 and −3.0 ≥Ho ≥−5.6.

Preparation of some intercalation compounds of layered γ-zirconium phosphate and zirconium phosphate-phosphite

Solid State Ionics, 1991
Abstract Intercalation chemistry of layered zirconium phosphates is of interest for a better knowledge of their protonic conductivity. Intercalation compounds of γ-zirconium phosphate with some alkanols, n -alkylmonoamines and benzylamine have been prepared and characterized for their X-ray powder diffraction patterns, IR spectra and TG-DTA analyses.

Immobilization of cesium by zirconium phosphate

Journal of Radioanalytical and Nuclear Chemistry, 2014
Mixtures of cesium nitrate and ammonium-ion type zirconium phosphate, NH4Zr2(PO4)3, with varying molar ratios were thermally treated at 600 or 750 °C, yielding partial cesium-ion type zirconium phosphates, Cs x H1−x Zr2(PO4)3 (x = 0.4, 0.6, 0.8). Immobilization of cesium on the Cs

A Molecular Dynamics Study of Zirconium Phosphate Membranes

2007
Several Molecular Dynamics simulations of the lamellar solid α-zirconium phosphate have been performed in order to estimate their proton permeability. To this end we first tested the formulation of the Force Field and then we carried out the molecular dynamics calculations aimed at evaluationg proton mobility.

High‐Temperature Zirconium Phosphates

Journal of the American Ceramic Society, 1954
The existence of two zirconium phosphate compounds has been established. The “normal” phosphate, ZrP 2 O 7 , has a reversible inversion at 300 °C. and dissociates to the zirconyl compound, (ZrO) 2 P

The Ion-Exchange Properties of Polymeric Zirconium Phosphate and Zirconium Dioxide

Inorganic Materials: Applied Research, 2018
The ion-exchange properties of polymeric zirconium phosphate and zirconium dioxide were studied and their ion-exchange capacities with respect to pyridine bases and pyridinecarboxylic acids were determined. The ion-exchange capacities of polymeric zirconium phosphate with respect to pyridine bases and pyridinecarboxylic acids were 0.53–0.76 and 0.18–0 ...

Polymerization of aniline on copper zirconium phosphate and a mixed zirconium phosphonate

Polyhedron, 1994
Abstract Oxidative polymerization of aniline was performed using both CuZr(PO 4 ) 2 (CuZrP) and Zr[O 3 P(CH 2 ) 3 COOH] 0.75 (O 3 POH) 1.25 [ZrP(bt) 0.75 (OH) 1.25 ] as catalysts. In the CuZrP reaction, the non-conducting emeraldine base form of polyaniline (PANI) formed on the surfaces of the phosphate microcrystals. When exposed to HCl, the solid

XPS characterization of?-zirconium phosphate and of some of its intercalation compounds. A comparison with the ?-zirconium phosphate analogues

Journal of Inclusion Phenomena and Molecular Recognition in Chemistry, 1991
An X-ray photoelectron spectroscopic investigation ofγ-Zr (HP04)2·2 H2O and its intercalation compounds with 1,10-phenanthroline, Co2+-phenanthroline and Cu2+-phenanthroline is described. The analysis of theNls spectra of the compound containing only phenanthroline clearly shows that, on average, more than one nitrogen atom of the diamine interacts ...
