Immunology, EarlyView.Unlike generalized mTOR inhibitors, Torin‐1 uniquely drives compensatory upregulation of TIM‐3 on human NK cells, shielding them from immunosuppression while concurrently inhibiting glioblastoma (GBM) growth. Selecting or preconditioning ex vivo NK cell products for high TIM‐3 expression can offer a combination strategy for adoptive cell therapy in GBM.
