Estimation of future extreme rainfall in Barcelona (Spain) under monofractal hypothesis

This study compared two geometry‐based methods for scaling rainfall to 5‐min resolution from daily climate outputs at a local scale (Barcelona, Spain). Results showed a consensual increase of the extreme rainfall on a subdaily scale for return periods between 2 and 100 years by the end of the century.
