Epigallocatechin Gallate From Tea Delays Oocyte Aging After Ovulation in Mice
In this study, we find that EGCG delays post‐ovulatory oocyte aging and improves the quality of aged oocytes. EGCG may reduce ROS levels in aged oocytes by the NRF2‐KEAP1 pathway. This study shows that TSG, the major bioactive constituent of Polygonum multiflorum Thunb., ameliorates POI in association with suppression of ZBP1‐driven PANoptosis. In a POI rat model, TSG restored estrous cyclicity, improved hormone profiles, and preserved follicular reserve.
