Zucchini yellow mosaic virus [PDF]
Zucchini yellow mosaic potyvirus (ZYMV), first isolated in Italy in 1973, described in 1981, and then identified in all continents within a decade, is one of the most economically important viruses of cucurbit crops. It is efficiently aphid‐transmitted in a nonpersistent manner and it is also seed‐borne in zucchini squash, which could have contributed ...

The newly developed ternary blend was validated in field trials and proved highly effective in attracting both male and female Zeugodacus cucurbitae. Abstract BACKGROUND Zeugodacus cucurbitae is a global quarantine pest. Management of this pest relies heavily on chemical insecticides, which impose substantial environmental burdens. Male‐specific lures [

Cucumber green mottle mosaic virus: A persistent seed‐borne threat to cucurbits
Cucumber green mottle mosaic virus (CGMMV) is a highly stable, seed‐borne tobamovirus that threatens global cucurbit production. Its efficient mechanical and seed transmission, long‐term environmental persistence, and the spread of Clade II CGMMV isolates drive its rapid dissemination and cause severe yield losses.

Global Aspects of Abelian and Center Projections in SU(2) Gauge Theory
We show that the global aspects of Abelian and center projection of a SU(2) gauge theory on an arbitrary manifold are naturally described in terms of smooth Deligne cohomology.

Is zucchini a phosphodiesterase or a ribonuclease?
Zucchini (Zuc), a member of the phospholipase D (PLD) superfamily, is essential for the primary PIWI-interacting RNA (piRNA) biogenesis and the suppression of transposon expression, which are crucial for the genome integrity of germline cells. However, it has been ambiguous whether Zuc acts as a phosphodiesterase to produce phosphatidic acid (PA), the ...
