Comparison of plant proximal sensing approaches for nitrogen supply detection in crops

open access: yesAgronomy Journal, Volume 114, Issue 6, Page 3317-3328, November/December 2022., 2022
Abstract Nondestructive proximal sensors can be an efficient source of information of N status in crops for localized and rapid adjustment of fertilization applications. The aim of this study was to compare two transmittance/reflectance‐based sensors (SPAD, ASD) and a florescence‐based sensor (Multiplex) in their ability to measure N content in corn ...

Downy mildew resistance and genetic variability in a wild rocket germplasm collection

open access: yesAgronomy Journal, Volume 114, Issue 6, Page 3083-3095, November/December 2022., 2022
Abstract One hundred accessions of a “core collection” of Diplotaxis tenuifolia (L.) DC. and Eruca spp. were screened at seedling stage for resistance to downy mildew. Accessions tested at the seedling stage were assigned to 0–6 interaction phenotypes.

AIE‐based drug/gene delivery system: Evolution from fluorescence monitoring alone to augmented therapeutics

open access: yesAggregate, Volume 3, Issue 6, December 2022., 2022
The aggregation‐induced emission luminogens (AIEgens) propel the development of drug and gene delivery systems. The lit‐up AIEgens first serve for real‐time monitoring of the delivery processes and evaluation of therapeutic responses of drug/gene. The delicate design of AIEgens to form high‐level structural carrier remarkably enhances the delivery ...
