CP prediction from residual Z2s and Z‾2s symmetries with the latest data

open access: yesPhysics Letters B
The JUNO first data and the recent neutrino global fit results are implemented in the sum rule from the residual Z2s and Z‾2s symmetries to make prediction of the leptonic Dirac CP phase δD.

A Universal Protein Ladder for Standardization of Diverse FRET Assays

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Translating FRET measurements from in vitro to intracellular environments requires universal benchmarks. We present a modular protein ladder using TPR motifs to harmonize data across diverse platforms. This predictable calibration curve bridges single molecule FRET measurements, with cell based measurements including FLIM‐FRET.

Trafficking Deficiency of TMEM175 Variants in Parkinson's Disease Pathogenesis and the Prospects of Precision Medicine

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies that the PD‐associated TMEM175‐L156P variant disrupts lysosomal ion channel trafficking by causing aberrant endoplasmic reticulum retention. A “chaperone–agonist” bifunctional small molecule restores TMEM175‐L156P lysosomal localization and channel function, thereby alleviating PD‐relevant cellular phenotypes and highlighting a ...

The hydrogen isotopic composition of water vapor entering the stratosphere inferred from high‐precision measurements of δD‐CH4 and δD‐H2

open access: yes, 2004
The hydrogen isotopic composition of water vapor entering the stratosphere provides an important constraint on the mechanisms for dehydration of air ascending through the tropical tropopause layer.

Aberrant GRP78 Phase Transition Sustains Endothelial IRE1α Signaling and Drives Blood–Brain Barrier Failure in Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Vascular Aβ40 corrupts GRP78 phase behavior in brain endothelial cells, sustaining IRE1α–TRAF2–JNK signaling and driving apoptosis, tight junction loss, and blood–brain barrier failure in cerebral amyloid angiopathy. Pharmacological IRE1α inhibition restores vascular integrity, reduces leakage, and improves functional outcomes, revealing a targetable ...

Leaf water deuterium enrichment shapes leaf wax n-alkane δD values of angiosperm plants II: observational evidence and global implications

open access: yes, 2013
Leaf wax n-alkanes are long-chain hydrocarbons that can persist in sedimentary records over geological timescales. Since their hydrogen isotopic composition (expressed as a δD value) can be correlated to the δD values of precipitation, leaf wax n-alkane ...

Unlocking the Alkynyl Bromide Radical Anion With Alternating Current for Inverse Sonogashira C─H Coupling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An alternating current (AC)‐promoted, Pd‐catalyzed ortho‐aryl C─H alkynylation of 2,3‐diaryl acrylaldehydes is described. This synthetic scheme accommodates a broad substrate scope, delivering alkynylated stilbene derivatives with excellent arene site selectivity.

Physics‐Aware Machine‐Learning‐Driven Inverse Design of Broadband Ultra‐Open Acoustic Metamaterials

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A physics‐aware machine‐learning framework enables inverse design of ultra‐open acoustic silencers by decoupling spectral and radial design spaces. The approach rapidly identifies broadband, compact, and highly ventilated architectures, while revealing hidden linear design rules that link geometry, impedance matching, and acoustic performance.

Voltage‐Driven Non‐Volatile Interconversion Between Giant Single‐Domain and Multidomain Magnetic States in a Multiferroic Heterostructure

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Non‐volatile voltage control of magnetic configurations is achieved in a strain‐coupled multiferroic heterostructure. Voltage pulses reversibly interconvert giant single‐domain and multidomain magnetic states, which remain stable at zero applied voltage. ABSTRACT Voltage control of magnetic states in multiferroic heterostructures represents a promising
