Abstract The accelerated pace of biological aging predicts mortality and morbidity later in life. The current study examines whether a change in supportive couple functioning buffers accelerated aging associated with stressful community environments among Black Americans who live in rural, Southern, disadvantaged neighborhoods.

Highlights This is the first cross‐sectional study of the association between serum IGF2BP3 levels and odds of T2DM in high‐risk Chinese population. Two upregulated (IGF2BP2 and IGF2BP3) and 5 downregulated (METTL3, ALKBH1, YTHDF2, YTHDF3, and HNRNPC) m6A‐related genes could contribute to the occurrence of T2DM.

Highlights Body composition changes were identified by baseline thyroid‐stimulating hormone (TSH) and difference in TSH (∆TSH) levels. A positive correlation between ∆TSH and ∆glucose was established. Patients with high TSH levels in the euthyroid state need muscle and fat management.

Highlights Vitamin D receptor (VDR) methylation attenuates the association between physical activity and type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). The methylation status of the VDR promoter is associated with the secretion and sensitivity of insulin. A high physical activity level is associated with a decreased risk of T2DM compared to a low physical activity ...

ABSTRACT The high accuracy in surface‐enhanced Raman scattering‐lateral flow immunoassays (SERS–LFIAs) is critical for reliable point‐of‐care testing (POCT) in clinical diagnostics. Conventional approaches are often affected by sampling variability and uneven distribution of immunoprobes, leading to unreliable signal fluctuations.

ABSTRACT With the continuous advancement of materials science and technology, the rare metal gallium has increasingly emerged as a promising alternative to the toxic metal mercury. Although existing research has predominantly focused on the high electrical conductivity and excellent deformability of liquid metal (LM), its intrinsic fluidic property ...

ABSTRACT The polyanionic compound Na3V2(PO4)3 (NVP) has emerged as a competitive cathode material for sodium‐ion batteries (SIBs), owing to its high‐voltage redox activity (3.4 V vs. the Na+/Na reference couple) and NASICON‐type framework that enables superior ionic conductivity.

ABSTRACT Converting CO2 to CH4 under mild conditions is a promising strategy for solving environmental and energy problems, but also a challenge. In this work, the low‐temperature CO2 hydrogenation process over Ni/CeO2 catalysts was significantly accelerated by optimizing the H2 dissociation ability of Ni through the size effect, thus A‐Ni/CeO2 with an

ABSTRACT Early detection of thermal runaway (TR) is essential for lithium‐ion battery (LIB) safety, as unchecked TR risks catastrophic failures in energy storage systems. Gas‐based sensing offers a faster and more direct approach by detecting decomposition products at the molecular level.
