Abstract Are narratives as influential in gaining the attention of policymakers as expert information, including for complex, technical policy domains such as artificial intelligence (AI) policy? This pre‐registered study uses a field experiment to evaluate legislator responsiveness to policy entrepreneur outreach.

Mechanisms of bariatric surgery for weight loss and diabetes remission 减重手术减轻体重和缓解糖尿病的机制
Highlights Controversial changes in intestinal hormones after bariatric surgery (BS) were summarized. The changes of signaling proteins involved in insulin resistance and the newly proposed changes in growth differentiation factor 15, exosomes, and extracellular vesicles after BS were elucidated.

Associations among psychosis, mood, anxiety, and posttraumatic stress symptoms: A network analysis
Abstract The associations among psychotic experiences (i.e., hallucinations and delusions), trauma exposure, and posttraumatic stress symptoms are complex and multidirectional. Using network analysis to understand how psychotic experiences and symptoms of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) relate to one another may identify new interventional targets

We apply an integrative perspective to modelling current and future land‐use change in Kuantan, Malaysia, a location with highly biodiverse forests, and also a hotspot of land‐use change. The region is representative of the types of development challenges faced by countries in Southeast Asia, which are also biodiversity hotspots.

Nailfold capillaroscopy and deep learning in diabetes 甲襞毛细血管镜检测与深度学习在糖尿病中的应用
Highlights Nailfold capillary images were obtained by performing nailfold video capillaroscopy in 120 adult patients with and without diabetes. Over 5000 photographs were analyzed using machine‐learning approaches, and these models were clearly able to distinguish people based on diabetes status.

Among all stereo matching methods End‐to‐End (E2E) learning methods show that they can achieve the lowest and most frequent minimum errors, however, their performance drastically changes across different test‐sites, which indicates poor generalisation capabilities.

Abstract Many war survivors suffer from chronic posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Unraveling the complexities of PTSD symptoms over time is crucial for understanding this condition. Going beyond a common pathogenic pathway perspective, we applied the network approach to psychopathology to analyze longitudinal data from war survivors with PTSD in ...

Information searching in chaotic neural network(混沌神经网络的信息搜索)
