糖尿病ケトアシドーシスでは,明らかな虚血性疾患によらない血清クレアチンキナーゼ(CK)値の上昇を認めることがあり,初期治療や検査に大きな影響を及ぼす。そこで,過去5年間に,糖尿病ケトアシドーシスで入院した全25例について血清CK値の検討を行った。うち,血清CK値が2,000U/L以上に達した症例は3例であった。いずれも著しい高血糖の糖尿病ケトアシドーシスの若年男性で,未治療患者であった。血清CK高値の3例と残りの22例で比較したところ,HDLコレステロール値(29.7±3.8 vs. 47.5±14.0,
