Organoid Modeling of Mouse Anterior Tongue Epithelium Reveals Regional and Cellular Identities

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The tongue's anterior epithelium is maintained by region‐specific stem/progenitor cells, yet in vitro models are limited. Long‐term expanding organoids are developed from adult mouse anterior tongue that retain region‐specific identity, cellular diversity, and gene regulatory features. These organoids differentiate into keratinocytes, Merkel‐like cells,

Vertical GaN‐On‐GaN Micro‐LEDs for Near‐Eye Displays

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work advances micro‐light‐emitting diode (micro‐LED) technology using GaN‐on‐GaN homoepitaxial platforms for low defects. Fluorine ion implantation replaces plasma etching for pixel isolation, reducing series resistance and enhancing optical quality. Vertical architectures enable dense integration.

Revealing a Pathway for Low‐Temperature Recrystallization in Germanium

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reports the discovery that energy transferred to electrons and atoms by highly ionizing ions results in a disorder‐order (amorphous‐crystalline) phase transformation in noncrystalline (amorphous) Ge. This discovery unlocks low‐temperature recrystallization pathways in Ge, offering a nonthermal strategy for fabricating Ge‐based devices that ...

Effect of nutrients with GA3 and residual effect of rice residue, FYM and nutrients applied to preceding potato on growth, yield and quality ofwheat (Triticum aestivum) in rice (Oryza sativa)-potato (Solanum tuberosum)–wheat cropping system

open access: yesThe Indian Journal of Agricultural Sciences
A field experiment was conducted during winter (rabi) and rainy (kharif) season of 2020–21 and 2021–22 at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, Punjab to enhance the productivity of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) in rice (Oryza sativa L.)-potato ...

Smohaze‐Upregulated RFWD3 Competes with TRIM24 to Stabilize TREX1 and Reduce Cytosolic dsDNA in Non‐Small Cell Lung Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The E3 ubiquitin ligase RFWD3 binds the exonuclease TREX1 and protects it from TRIM24‐mediated ubiquitination and degradation, leading to the eradication of intracellular dsDNA, inhibition of the cGAS‐STING pathway, and immunosuppressive microenvironment of lung cancer.

Synaptic Dysfunction in the Anterior Cingulate Cortex Underlies Pain‐Anxiety Comorbidity in a Mandibular Asymmetry Mouse Model

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study establishes a mandibular asymmetry (MA) mouse model that recapitulates chronic orofacial pain and anxiety comorbidity. Anterior cingulate cortex (ACC) hyperactivation and synaptic dysfunction are identified as central neural mechanisms underlying these pathologies, with chemogenetic inhibition of ACC CaMKII+ neurons effectively reversing ...
