[1H-NMR spectroscopy of a patient with pachygyria].

1H-NMR spectroscopy was performed on a 6-month-old boy with pachygyria. A MRI study demonstrated an abnormally thick cortex localized in the right occipital lobe. 1H-NMR spectrums were collected from the lesion and the contralateral cortex that appeared normal on MRI.
