Natural Biomaterials for Osteochondral Repair: From Source to Strategy

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Biological origin‐guided overview of natural biomaterials and therapeutic strategies for osteochondral tissue engineering. The circular diagram categorizes representative materials and strategies into plant/algae‐derived, microbial‐derived, animal‐derived, and human‐derived sources, centered on an osteochondral defect repair model.

Fructose‐Based Single‐Chain Polymer Nanoparticles for GLUT1–Mediated Delivery: Impact of Polymer Design on Uptake and In Vivo Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Single‐chain nanoparticles have been proposed as drug delivery carriers, but adding a tail can significantly enhance their performance. This was demonstrated using a tadpole‐like structure comprising a head prepared from a UV‐crosslinked fructose‐based glycopolymer capable of targeting GLUT receptors, combined with a PEG‐based tail. Compared with other

1H NMR studies of human blood plasma assignment of resonances for lipoproteins

open access: yes, 1987
Single-pulse and Hahn spin-echo 500 MHz 1H NMR spectra of human blood plasma and isolated chylomicrons, VLDL, LDL and HDL are reported. The comparison has enabled specific assignments to be made for the resonances of individual lipoproteins in the CH2 ...

Affinity‐Tuned Albumin Hitchhiking Extends the Bioorthogonal Capture Window in Pretargeting Radiotheranostics

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Pharmacokinetic engineering of clickable radioligands was achieved via albumin hitchhiking approach within a pretargeted radiotheranostics delivery platform. This approach reduced rapid renal elimination, expanded bioorthogonal capture window, boosted tumor uptake by ∼3.5‐fold, and improved the tumor‐to‐liver ratio by ∼6‐fold.

Diagnosis of cerebral cryptococcoma using a computerized analysis of 1H NMR spectra in an animal model

open access: yes, 2005
Viable cryptococci load in biopsy material from an animal model of cerebral cryptococcoma were correlated with 1H NMR spectra and metabolite profiles. A statistical classification strategy was applied to distinguish among high-resolution 1H NMR spectra ...
