In vitro Culture of Several Rice Cultivars [PDF]

open access: yes, 1989
Tissue culture methods have been established to regenerate certain rice (Oryza sativa L) cultivars, but regeneration of the rice cultivars widely grown in Arkansas has not been reported.

Effect of Implementing a Dashboard with or without a Best Practice Alert on HLA‐B*58:01 Testing Rates among Allopurinol Users at VA Medical Centers

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, Accepted Article.
Objective The American College of Rheumatology recommends HLA‐B*58:01 allele testing before the initiation of allopurinol, specifically among Asian and Black/African American patients, due to their increased risk for severe hypersensitivity reactions.

Fluorescence Polarization Immunoassay for Rapid, Sensitive Detection of the Herbicide 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic Acid in Juice and Water Samples

open access: yesBiosensors
2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) is one of the popular herbicides that is widely used in agriculture and can be found in food and water. A rapid and sensitive fluorescence polarization immunoassay (FPIA) was proposed for the detection of 2,4-D in ...

2,4-D resistance in wild radish: reduced herbicide translocation via inhibition of cellular transport

open access: yesJournal of Experimental Botany, 2016
Highlight Reduced translocation of 2,4-D confers resistance in wild radish, and is due to inhibition of phloem loading, rather than enhanced metabolism or sequestration of the herbicide.

Effect of 2,4-D and BAP on growth and chemical characteristics of bean sprouts (Vigna mungo L.) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Bean sprouts or “tauge” is a popular vegetable among the Malaysians. Sprouts are rich in nutrients, easily digested, but are perishable and have a short life cycle. Relatively, standard sprouts have long, thin hypocotyls and long roots.

Intermolecular Interactions as Driving Force of Increasing Multiphoton Absorption in a Perylene Diimide‐Based Coordination Polymer

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study uncovers the unexplored role of intermolecular interactions in multiphoton absorption in coordination polymers. By analyzing [Zn2tpda(DMA)2(DMF)0.3], it shows how the electronic coupling of the chromophores and confinement in the MOF enhance two‐and three‐photon absorption.

Aktivitas Enzim 2,4-d Monooksigenase Dari Berbagai Mikroba* [2,4-d Monooxygenase Activity of Some Microorganisms] [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
Nine cultures both from fungi and bacteria have been selected for testing their 2,4-D monooxygenase activity to degrade 2,4-Dtohlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D). The results showed that all the cultures which were tested grows at 1000 ppm 2,4-D.

Copper Doping Enhances the Activity and Selectivity of Atomically Precise Ag44 Nanoclusters for Photocatalytic CO2 Reduction

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
By a simple anti‐Galvanic reaction, up to six copper atoms could be preferably doped into the Ag2(SR)5 staple motifs and Ag20 dodecahedral shell of an atomically precise Ag44(SR)30 nanocluster. When anatase TiO2 is used as substrate, the (AgCu)44/TiO2 photocatalyst exhibited much improved activity in photocatalytic CO2 reduction compared to Ag44/TiO2 ...
