FINITE APPROXIMATION OF NONCOOPERATIVE 2-PERSON GAMES PLAYED IN STAIRCASE-FUNCTION CONTINUOUS SPACES
V. Romanuke Finite approximation of noncooperative 2-person games played in staircase-function continuous spaces Background. There is a known method of approximating continuous noncooperative 2-person games, wherein an approximate solution (an ...

Pareto-efficient strategies in 2-person games in staircase-function continuous and finite spaces
A tractable method of solving noncooperative 2-person games in which strategies are staircase functions is suggested. The solution is meant to be Pareto-efficient. The method considers any 2-person staircase-function game as a succession of 2-person games in which strategies are constants.

Narcissistic and dependent traits and behavior in four archetypal 2-person, 2-choice games [PDF]
IntroductionThe characteristic behaviors we use to define personality pathology arise from specific interpersonal interactions. In an effort to create a laboratory-based context in which behavior might be expected to be influenced by particular ...

Value in mixed strategies for zero-sum stochastic differential games without Isaacs condition [PDF]
In the present work, we consider 2-person zero-sum stochastic differential games with a nonlinear pay-off functional which is defined through a backward stochastic differential equation.

BackgroundAlcohol-induced blackouts (AIBs) are a serious consequence of alcohol use that are strongly associated with experiencing excess alcohol−related harms. AIBs are common and recurrent among young adults who drink. The risk factors for AIBs include

BackgroundDigital health interventions and gamification hold promise for managing chronic diseases, but evidence comparing their efficacy, long-term effectiveness, and cost-efficiency with those of usual care is limited. Moreover, there is a growing need

Deterministic n-person shortest path and terminal games on symmetric digraphs have Nash equilibria in pure stationary strategies [PDF]
We prove that a deterministic n-person shortest path game has a Nash equlibrium in pure and stationary strategies if it is edge-symmetric (that is (u, v) is a move whenever (v, u) is, apart from moves entering terminal vertices) and the length of every ...
