Propylene glycol monomethyl ether isomers in workplace air determined by solvent desorption-gas chromatography

open access: yes环境与职业医学
BackgroundPropylene glycol monomethyl ether (PGME) is a widely used organic solvent. It exists in the form of two isomers in the workplace, which will cause adverse effects such as eye and upper respiratory tract irritation in workers.

Explosion Characteristics of Propanol Isomer–Air Mixtures

open access: yesEnergies, 2019
This paper describes a series of experiments performed to study the explosion characteristics of propanol isomer (1-propanol and 2-propanol)−air binary mixtures. The experiments were conducted in two different experimental arrangements—a 0.02

Transparent Perovskite Light‐Emitting Diodes with Conductive Oxide Top Electrodes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Transparent perovskite light‐emitting diodes (TrPeLEDs) enable simultaneous display and transparency, expanding application possibilities. Using a metal oxide buffer layer and pulsed laser deposition, TrPeLEDs with diverse compositions and architectures are demonstrated.

Hydrophobic MFI‐Type Zeolites via Alkali‐Cation‐Induced Defect Healing: Implications for Adsorbent and Catalyst Design

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Sub‐stoichiometric amounts of Na+ or K+ enhance defect healing during Silicalite‐1 (MFI) and TS‐1 calcination by promoting Si–O–Si annealing and healing framework vacancies. The resulting defect‐free zeolites are more hydrophobic and show improved butanol/water separation and improved activity and selectivity in the epoxidation of 1‐hexene, offering a ...

Pervaporative Dehydration of Organic Solvents Using High-Silica CHA-Type Zeolite Membrane

open access: yesMembranes, 2021
A high-silica chabazite (CHA) type zeolite membrane was prepared on the porous α-Al2O3 support tube by the secondary growth of seed particles. The dehydration performances of the membrane were determined using methanol, ethanol, 2-propanol, acetone ...

Gold‐Stabilized Copper Enables Anodic Hydrogen Evolution for Ultralow‐Voltage CO‐to‐Ethylene Electrolysis

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Gold‐stabilized copper suppresses hydroxide‐driven deactivation during anodic hydrogen evolution from furfural. Pairing this low‐potential anode with CO‐to‐ethylene electroreduction enables sub‐1 V operation at 400 mA cm−2, high single‐pass CO conversion, and co‐production of ethylene, furoic acid, and a separate hydrogen stream.

Anisotropic Masked Mycobacterium Potentiates Amplified Antitumor Trained Immunity via Spleen Targeting and Myelopoiesis Conversion

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An engineered Trojan Mycobacterium, developed via a “peeling‐off and masking‐up” strategy, functions as a powerful splenic myelopoiesis converter. This spleen‐targeted nanomedicine induces trained immunity to reprogram immunosuppressive myeloid reservoirs into antitumoral effectors.

General Hydroamination of Allenamides: Mechanistic Insights with an Acetate Adduct and 1,1,1,3,3,3-Hexafluoro-2-propanol

open access: yes
The 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoro-2-propanol-assisted allenamide activation enables metal-free regioselective intermolecular interception of amines, constituting a general C–N bond formation process for accessing value-added 1,3-diamines.
