Phytoecdysteroids in the Genus (Polypodiaceae) of French Polynesia
A chemical survey of the six species of Microsorum in French Polynesia has been performed to determine and quantify the phytoecdysteroids. The content and composition of these compounds in the fronds of each of the six species were established.

miR-34-5p mediates 20E-induced autophagy in the fat body of Bombyx mori by targeting Atg1
Background 20-Hydroxyecdysone (20E) is an important hormone that regulates insect development and metamorphosis. The fat body of insects plays a crucial role in nutrient storage and energy metabolism and is considered the exchange center for regulating ...

SRP/dGATAb modulates the ecdysone response bidirectionally via locus-specific regulatory landscape
Background Steroid hormones drive the transcription of developmental genes by activating distinct sets of enhancers across tissues and developmental contexts, but the mechanisms that target specific enhancers remain incompletely understood, even in model

Regeneration ofSarcophagaImaginal Discsin Vitro:Implication of 20-Hydroxyecdysone
When the 3/4 sectors of leg imaginal discs of Sarcophaga were cultured in vitro in the presence of 2.5 x 10(-8) M 20-hydroxyecdysone, wound healing and restoration of their morphology occurred. This concentration of ecdysone was critical for wound healing and was 40 times lower than that necessary for inducing differentiation of imaginal discs in vitro.
