Broadly Accessible and Highly Active Hydrophosphination Catalysis With Simple Calcium Compounds in DMSO Solution [PDF]

open access: yesChemSusChem
Simple calcium bis(amido) compounds are exceptionally potent hydrophosphination catalysts in DMSO solution. At ambient temperature or under irradiation, this catalyst successfully engages all manner of unsaturated substrates with primary and secondary phosphines with more than 100 examples of high conversion.

31P NMR of alkaline phosphatase

Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications, 1975
Summary Phosphate bound to E. coli alkaline phosphatase gives 31 P-NMR peaks at −3.5 and −8.5 ppm from phosphoric acid. A shift of −8.5 ppm cannot be correlated with any phosphorylated amino acid analogue. It is ascribed to a strained phosphoserine at the active site, with implications for catalysis.

31P-NMR spectra of AP4

Research In Experimental Medicine, 1985
31P-NMR spectra were obtained from adenosine-5'-tetraphosphate under a variety of conditions and the four discernible resonances assigned. The pK-value of the metal-free compound was determined to be 6.4, the pK-value of the Mg2+ complex to be 5.3. The dissociation constant for the AP4 X Mg2+ complex was estimated to be 10(-4) M from the downfield ...

31P NMR Studies of Phospholipids

2015
© 2015 Elsevier Ltd. 31P nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) can provide information on the composition of phospholipid (PL) membranes, lipid headgroup orientation relative to the bilayers normal, and the phase state of PL systems. Interaction of the membrane with ions, drugs, other small molecules and peptides may lead to lipid phase change and lamellar ...

Investigations of Muscle Bioenergetics with 31P NMR

Investigative Radiology, 1989
Many factors have been proposed to contribute to the development of muscle fatigue, but as yet a definitive assessment of their relative contributions has not been possible. To determine whether changes in bioenergetic factors are determinants of muscle force during the development of fatigue, simultaneous measurements were made during fatiguing ...

The 31P NMR spectrum of InP

Journal of Physics and Chemistry of Solids, 1992
The 31P NMR spectrum of InP is reported at 137.9 MHz under magic-angle spinning (MAS) conditions. Combined with previous measurements at 81 MHz, a field-independent, approximately Gaussian line of ~4000 Hz width is found. The linewidth is from In-P scalar, electron-coupled (J) interactions with the spin-92 115In.
