Finite difference analysis of an advance core pre-reinforcement system for Toulon's south tube
The stability of shallow tunnels excavated in full face has been a major challenge to the scientific community for a long time. In recent years, new techniques based on the installation of a pre-reinforcement system ahead of the tunnel face were ...

Numerical and experimental analysis of 3D printer hot ends
AbstractThe design of the hot end plays a critical role in additive manufacturing, especially in material extrusion. Yet the melt flow behavior within the hot end assembly has not been explicitly presented regarding the hot end design. The present study intends to fill this knowledge gap by employing a two-phase approach to investigate the melt ...

Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Experimental validation of a numerical simulation on a ballscrew system by 3D photoelasticity
The Trimmable Horizontal Stabilizer Actuator (THSA system) equips the whole airbus line. One component of this system is a ball-screw system on which spalling problems appear on the balls.

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic
