Allosteric Inhibitors of SARS‐CoV‐2 RNA‐Dependent RNA Polymerase Based on N,N′‐Diphenylurea
Inhibitors of SARS‐CoV‐2 RdRp activity based on N,N′‐diphenylurea scaffold have been identified. Several compounds exhibit residual activity (RA) below 50% in an enzymatic assay (at 10 µM concentration) and improved aqueous solubility compared to the previously reported series of inhibitors.

Bis(phenolate)–Titanium(IV) Catalysts for Efficient and Sustainable Direct Amide Bond Formation
Titanium alkoxides of general formula Ti(OAr)2(OiPr)2 are efficient catalysts for amide bond formation. Using 5% mol of [(2,6‐dimethylphenoxy)2Ti(Oi‐Pr)2], or 10% mol of [(2,4‐dimethylphenoxy)2Ti(Oi‐Pr)2], we achieved efficient direct amidation between benzylamine and various carboxylic acids, including N‐protected α‐amino acids.

Competition between binding partners of yeast Pex3 affects peroxisome biology
Pex3 is a peroxisomal membrane protein (PMP) that specifically recruits several binding partners. In the yeast Hansenula polymorpha, Atg30 (pexophagy), Inp1 (inheritance) and Pex19 (receptor for new PMPs) associate with Pex3. Overexpression of any of these proteins affects peroxisomal processes because these proteins compete for binding to Pex3.
