Abstract Gastric abscess is a rare condition caused by gastric barrier damage. It is easily misdiagnosed in clinical practice as a cancer recurrence or submucosal tumor, especially after surgery or endoscopic submucosal dissection. With a relatively high mortality rate, the cause and clinical characteristics of gastric abscesses are obscure.

Abstract Myelodysplastic neoplasms (MDSs) are clonal disorders characterized by ineffective hematopoiesis, dysplasia, and a risk of transformation into acute myeloid leukemia. MDS is also associated with a higher incidence of osteoporosis, suggesting a complex interplay between hematopoiesis, the bone marrow (BM) microenvironment, and bone homeostasis.

A Pilot Study on the Prevalence and Characterization of Multidrug‐Resistant Gram‐Negative Bacteria in Chicken and Pork Meat Around Kathmandu District, Nepal

This study investigated multidrug resistance in Gram‐negative bacteria from chicken and pork meat in Kathmandu, isolating 136 strains from 13 samples. Nearly half were multidrug resistant, highlighting contaminated meat as a potential route for zoonotic transmission and the need for antimicrobial resistance monitoring in Nepal.
